Eremin Alexey Grigorievich
(1919 - 1998)

Was born 17 March 1919 in the village of Velikaya Guba, Karelija Region.
In 1951 Alexey Eremin graduated from Ilya Repin Institute in Boris Ioganson workshop.
Pupil of Boris Fogel, Semion Abugov, Alexander Debler, Alexander Zaytsev.
Since 1939 he has participated in Art Exhibitions.
Member of LCRAU since 1951.
Painted a genre scenes, subject and historical pictures, portraits, landscapes.
Honoured Artist of Russian Federation (1970). People`s Artist of Russian Federation (1978).
Paintings by Alexey EREMIN are in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, in Art museums and private collections in the Russia, Japan, England, Finland, and throughout the world.
