Piotr Belousov was awarded the honorary titles of the Honored Artist of Russian Federation (1970), and People`s Artist of Russian Federation (1978).
He was elected Corresponding Member of Academy of Arts of the USSR (1979).
Piotr Petrovich Belousov died in Leningrad in 1989.

Buchkin Piotr Dmitrievich
(1886 - 1965)

Piotr Dmitrievich Buchkin was born January 22, 1886 in Sofronovo village, Tver Province of Russian Empire.
In 1912, Piotr Buchkin graduated from Higher Art School at the Academy of Arts in Saint-Petersburg in Vladimir Mate workshop.
Since 1912, Piotr Buchkin has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted  portraits, landscapes, genre and historical paintings, worked as easel painter, graphic artist, and art illustrator.
Piotr Buchkin has painted from the life of Vladimir Lenin, Fedor Shalapin.
In 1914 Piotr Buchkin becomes a member of the Society of Artists named after Arkhip Kuindzhi. In 1918 he was elected a member of the Society of Russian watercolors.
Piotr Buchkin was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1932.
In 1956 Piotr Buchkin was awarded the honorary title of the Honored Art Worker of Russian Federation.
In 1936-1940 years he taught at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he was professor of drawing.
In 1947-1965 Piotr Buchkin
taught at the Higher School od Industrial Art named after Vera Mukhina, where he was professor and Head of the Department of monumental and decorative painting.
Piotr Buchkin author of the book of memoirs "About that in memory. Notes of an Artist", (1962).

Piotr Dmitrievich Buchkin died in Leningrad in 1965.
Paintings by Piotr BUCHKIN reside in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, in Art Museums and private collections in the Russia, France, Japan, in the U.S., and throughout the world.
